Jason shaped my faith in ways i never expected. Through his love, his strength, and the way he carried himself, he showed me what it meant to believe. Not just in something greater, but in myself.
It was when we visited the beautiful island in Palawan. I saw Jason swimming in the open water and I was feeling anxious as the waves rush in. I never imagine i could swim so far beyond the shore, I told him. I was always afraid of the deep, of drifting too far from what felt safe. He told me "where is your faith?" That struck me. I contemplated on what he asked. I prayed and asked myself where is my faith? Jason challenged me gently, confidently. Surprisingly, when we were back in the water, i swam far from the shore, way far from the usual entertained by watching the beauty under water. He was proud of me! Really proud!

I wish I had photos to share but because our relationship stemmed from an anonymous platform the camera was never really used! Jason always made me laugh out loud and I loved his sense of humour. He had a knack of making the most tragic experiences sound hilarious. I will always reminder his handsome smiling face and that laugh. We got to create a memory with a group of people that we will all cherish for a lifetime. Imagine a group of adults who love being big kids from ALL walks of life deciding to go camping together at Woody Head and calling it Christmas in July. We had a Christmas Tree, Team Games that included charades as well as endless scrumptious food. Jason nominated himself wood boy and Mr Dishwasher. He was really impressed by my didj playing and my dreaming stories. We sat in circle around the fire, sober 100% of the time and shared many stories. That weekend I saw somethi
