Obituary

With heavy hearts, yet with faith in God’s eternal promise, we announce the passing of our beloved Florence Edewor-Itoje, who was called home to the Lord on 6 December 2025.
Florence was a devoted wife to Efe Itoje and a deeply loving mother to Jeremy, Maro, and Isabel Itoje. She was the anchor of her family, a woman of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and abundant love. Her home was a place of warmth, prayer, and welcome, and her presence brought comfort, reassurance, and peace to all who knew her.


Florence was immensely proud of who she was and where she came from. She carried her identity and heritage with dignity and grace, and she held her community close to her heart. She believed deeply in unity, service, and lifting others, and she lived these values daily through her generosity, wisdom, and steadfast support.
Her life was a testimony of faith in action. She trusted God in every season, and her words and deeds reflected a deep belief in love, perseverance, and hope. Though we mourn her passing, we give thanks for a life beautifully lived and for the legacy of faith, strength, and pride she leaves behind.

Florence will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
