Tributes

Sam Kiteley7 Jun 2026
Gamini was such a kind, gentle, and genuinely lovely man. From the moment my brother became part of his family in Australia, Gamini welcomed him with open arms, warmth, and generosity. That kindness meant more than words can express and is something that will never be forgotten.

It is clear from everyone who knew him how deeply loved and respected he was. He had a quiet strength, a caring nature, and a way of making people feel accepted and valued. The love he shared with his family and friends created a legacy that will live on for many years to come.

It is always incredibly sad to say goodbye to someone so special, but the memories, stories, and values he leaves behind will continue through the family he cherished so much. May those memories bring comfort, strength, and smiles during this difficult time.

Thinking of Lalitha, Chami and Indi, Ian, Ellie & and all who loved Gamin
Eugenia Tarzibachi5 Jun 2026
Gamini was a kind and caring presence whose warmth touched the lives of those around him. As a devoted father, he leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to live in our hearts. His kindness, wisdom, and love for his family will never be forgotten.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through the people he loved and the values he shared. I remember him with deep affection and gratitude.

May his memory be a blessing, and may those who knew and loved him find comfort in the wonderful moments they shared with him.

Gamini will be remembered for ever as a brilliant High School teacher and a selfless Tutor who put students interests ahead of his own, while setting up new professional benchmarks for others to follw. His altruistic life and desire to help others is highly commendable. The community has lost another gem of the sea.
May he attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana!
