Obituary
Connor Albert Farrow’s story began on September 29, 1994, when he was born in Canberra, Australia to John and Racheal Farrow. From the very beginning, Connor brought laughter, mischief, and a big heart into the world.
He grew up as the much-loved youngest brother of Ashley and Jordon and brother-in-law to Kate and Dean, and later became “Uncle Bear” to Cienna, Ty, Tommy, Willow, Oscar, Arthur, and Elle—a role he embraced with all the fun and cheek they adored him for.
Connor made his home in Burleigh Waters and worked in hospitality, where his easygoing nature and quick wit won people over.
He loved music—Stormzy and Bob Marley were always on his playlist—and he had a taste for the finer things like top-shelf alcohol, though he was just as happy staying in cheap hostels and collecting mid-range watches.
He had a knack for making the simple things feel special—whether it was splitting the “G” on a Guinness, catching a game of basketball or rugby, or just hanging out with his mates. Connor was the kind of person who left people smiling, who made life feel lighter and better just by being there.
While our hearts are broken and we feel he was taken far too soon, we find comfort in knowing that he is now with his Mum and Dad, who will be looking after him.
Connor will always be loved, missed, and remembered. We invite you to keep his story alive by sharing a memory or reflection of the times he made you laugh, smile, or simply feel at home in his presence.
As Con's family we ask you to slow down on the roads. Don't speed, adhere to the road rules and be aware. Connor was taken from us because someone chose to speed. Connor was taken from us while walking across the road at Broadbeach with his friend after watching a rugby game.
All we ask is that his legacy is respected by helping us in hopefully supporting that no other family has to go through what we have.
Everyone who has ever met Connor knows this is a loss that all will feel for the rest of our lives.
Sleep well little brother. We love and miss you.
