Deepest sympathy to Gen’s family. She was the best GP i have ever had . We would often talk about raising boys and how important family was. A great loss.

Genevieve was our preferred gp since we moved to this area - pregnant with our second child. She looked after us with such care, compassion and skill. I’m so very sad to hear she has left the earth- it’s too soon and life can be so unfair. Heartbroken. You will be remembered so fondly. Wish you had more time.

Gen was such a lovely caring person. Her care for her patients was exceptional. I worked with Gen from her training days for many years. We shared many great conversations about our work, and our joy in both of us having two sons. She was thoughtful, kind and filled with love. Our sympathies to Mark, Ewan and Cormac.

Dear Gen, You were truly one of a kind! The absolute best GP I have ever had in my life. You took care of me and some members of my family and for that I will be eternally grateful. Your kindness and beautiful soul will surely be missed. I have never been more sad to hear of such a profound loss. Thank you for your service. My condolences to your husband and children and family. You were always in my prayers and thoughts but the Lord had other plans. Absolutely devastating news. From one Genevieve to another and my Virgo sister, may you find peace and comfort. We were so excited to share the same name, star sign and birth month and both from the medical profession. You will always be missed! From Genevieve Chiller-Nunez 💔💔💔

Awful news. Gen was such a beautiful person, an incredible mother and amazing sister to her late brother Patrick. She will be missed. Rest easy Gen.

So upsetting to hear about Gen’s passing even though she had been battling illness for a number of years. I knew her as Patrick’s little sister and one of the twins with Chris. Since Pat’s passing we had the opportunity to meet every year to celebrate his life and hear about her and her kids. Now she’s gone too. So sad. All the best to Harriet, Tim and Chris.

I'm deeply sorry to hear about Gen's passing. I knew her from when we were both in high school, and I remember her as a kind and spirited girl. My sincere condolences to Chris and the rest of her family.

My sincere condolences to you Mark. After a long hard battle, God decided it was time for a rest so she was reborn to heaven. Thinking of you and the boys. She will always be right there beside you in spirit to help you guide your beautiful boys into men. Take care Dora xx

Dear Mark and her beloved sons. I worked with your wife and mum at Andrew Place Clinic. It is not often you meet someone like her in your lifetime. Always kind, a very gentle soul, caring, took time out of her busy day to say Hi hows things with you. She was an amazing women GP and she loved her little family with all her heart. May you RIP sweet lady you are sadly missed by many xxx

Gen, It was an absolute honour to have had the opportunity to work alongside such a beautiful soul and an amazing GP. I’ll always remember our chats in the tea room, talking about what it was like being the only female in the house and raising boys. You just seemed to get it! Those little conversations are memories I’ll always treasure. Rest peacefully, Gen. You will forever hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

I am heartbroken by the passing of our dear friend and colleague Gen after a truly brave battle. I remember you starting at APC, a beautiful young new face keen to join the APC team & very fast you became a valued and cherished GP, loved by your work colleagues and patients alike for your kind nature, bright personality and light up the room type smile. I enjoyed working with you, especially on shifts when the Best Friend Trio worked together. Gen, Kate and Phil had an amazing bond at work and socially and loved a chat, so much so that you all had to have your consult rooms together in the same hallway. If you weren’t in your room & had a break in your appt book, receptionists would often check or buzz another room that Kate or Phil were consulting in, knowing that’s where you would all be, in one room chatting (laughter was often heard as you talked about all things in life). The oth

Dear Gen, Here are my little memories. We spent over 13 plus years working together in Andrew Place Clinic. One a GP and one a nurse. You were a bubble of energy, talked a million miles an hour at times while explaining to a patient about a health condition, you always showed great compassion and kindness to patients and everyone that came in contact with you. To me personally you were thoughtful, kind, funny, easy to be with. A doctor by title, but a wonderful kind, decent human being. Everyone loved Gen. A bit bossy too! I think you described yourself as the bossy twin. While you lived in Northcote you offered me lifts on Saturday, to save me catching the tram. You'd knock at my door to collect me and be greeted by my two young daughters. You'd take such a wonderful interest in them and totally pretend to not notice the mayhem appearance of my house or my kids in their night ge

We are deeply saddened to hear about Gen’s passing. We are keeping Mark, Ewan and Cormac in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Though we didn't get to see each other as often in recent years after our lives filled up with kids, we have such fond memories of the holidays we shared and our catch-ups when we headed back to Australia. We will always remember Gen for her quick wit and dry sense of humour, but even more so for her remarkable caring nature towards all living things. From helping a stranger stitch up a head wound using her own hair, to dropping everything to make sure a lost dog made it home safely, Gen’s outward care for others was truly abundant. Whether she was out for a run or pouring her heart into her family, she lived life with a fun-loving spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace, and may

It is with a sad heart that I heard that your health deteriorated. I enjoyed working with you and knew that you always cared for your patients. It made me laugh every time Mark bought in your boys to be immunised you were hiding cause you hated the thought but knew the necessity. You will always be in my heart.

Oh Gen, I remember Ann first striking up a friendship with you at the Donald street park when Cormac and Freya were little and hearing Ann talk about you, I knew you were someone I wanted to know! You carried yourself with such beautiful lightness and energy. How I wish there was more time. Thank you for being you, I’ll cherish your cracking dry humour and our conversations. May your love and energy find its home in your gorgeous boys.

Dear Mark and boys I’m going to send you a card to say what I want to say to you, but I thought I would share a memory of Gen here. Last time I saw Gen she was full of joy after completing her first marathon and we had a great chat about our running plans. I was looking forward to catching up with her about running again, but now she has run on too far too soon.

Gen was a wonderful friend in our running group. Kind, generous, funny, caring and with motivation and determination for her running to match an Olympian. We shared many laps of the track in morning darkness, and every step of her amazing marathon by her side. We were lucky to be touched and inspired by her doing something we all enjoyed. May she run on in peace. From her friends at Love the Run.

Ah Gen... what a bright, fiery light you brought to the world and those in it 💥🔥Your laugh was infectious and your energy uplifting 🌞 Your humour was so so dry 😅 and you weren't afraid to Say The Things Out Loud 🤭 I'm very grateful for the small windows of time I got to reconnect and laugh with you this year ✨ You live on in your beautiful boys that were your world 💞🪐In such a tragic loss I am comforted knowing you are resting in peace and love 🙏

Although we never met Gen we have known Mark for many years. Its difficult to say goodbye to someone we did not know personally but our hearts ache for Mark and the boys and we hope the wonderful time and memories you had together will bring you comfort in the days ahead. Sorry we cannot be there on Sunday but our thoughts will be with you. With deepest sympathy Bruno and Nory Nicolazzo.
