Colin Barber

We met in 1973 when I did a stint in Norwich Union Insurance, Colin was my guidance and helped me navigate the system from that point we became friends till the end .We would catch up in Leichhardt where he lived in the family home , great days ! In early 1975 Colin announced that he was going to London so he suggested I come along , he went first and I followed mid year . We lived in Patrick house in Earls Court dubbed Kangaroo Valley because every second person was Australian , there I met Colin’s friend Sue who is in the above photo with me taken by Colin. They took off on a trek across Europe in a van with other Patrick House boarders but I stayed behind and did my own solo travel. Eventually Colin being a can do dependable man became tour guide on behalf of the service offered by the owner of Patrick House, it was a package deal , room, board and travel.
