Pete your absence is felt so deeply by us, it’s hard to comprehend you’re no longer here. We are lucky to have great memories with you, those we will always cherish. You were the big friendly giant with the most infectious laugh, king of the kids, warm, engaging and funny. Rest in peace Pete- you’ll never be forgotten.

Some people become part of your life so naturally that you don’t realise just how much they mean to you until they’re suddenly not there. Pete you were always the friendly face at the school gate. The dad we met in kindy who somehow became the dad our mum group looked for when we spotted you “in the wild” so we could get a selfie for our Pete in the Wild collection. You were the one who had an insane musical memory... always knowing the lyrics to pretty much any song within a few notes and always up for bantering endless pop culture references back and forth. We will miss miss your deep laugh, and your cneeky one liners. We will cherish our memories of going to Royale with Cheese gigs to rock out, our mimosa trivia night efforts and the many impromptu catch ups and chats. We promise to look after Kell and the boys.
