This is very bitter and sad news. Ms. Sandra Baxendell, you were a wonderful, kind, and responsive person. I live in a completely different country, I am not an Australian citizen, I am from Russia—yet you never ignored any of my questions or requests. You always provided comprehensive information regarding goats and their health, explaining everything to me in great detail. Many of your tips and recommendations are used by goat keepers in Russia. Thank you so much for everything. We will miss you dearly. Rest in peace🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My family were so saddened to hear of Dr. Sandra's passing. While her reputation as a goat veterinarian is beyond reproach and she has my immense professional respect for advancing the goat welfare field in Australia, it was her personal care and incredible generosity with her time to help me with my own goats that truly speak to her character. Thank you, Sandra, for all you accomplished. Rest easy.

Dux chose to enter the world backwards. A single, she weighed 9lbs. Sandra delivered her here and she never looked back. I have known Sandra since she was a young girl with AN's. She was my Vet for a few years, and took my Saanen Stud to MN3, 3 years of monitored negative Johnes disease, and finishing my 38 years CAE accreditation.
A brilliant dairy goat Vet. Dulcie Richards.

A grave loss to all those that knew her, respected her and above all loved her. I feel honoured to have this opportunity to express my feelings about Sandra. I have been specializing in goats for over 30 years, and I was still calling Sandra to tap into her vast knowledge of small ruminants. She always went over and above to answer my queries. We could all write pages and pages of gratitude, but I'll stop there. RIP to a kind, passionate, lovely person. I will miss you ❤️

Dr Sandra you were such a beautiful passionate and compassionate person. I never felt I was being hurried while you educated me on the value of using bioworma. Your knowledge has educated so many people. Condolences sent to your family at this very difficult and sad time. You truly will be missed by so many.❤️

Sandra brought so much to the veterinary profession through her passion for goat medicine. We have been so fortunate to have worked with Sandra over many years through the Centre for Veterinary Education, the overwhelmingly positive feedback from
Her teaching and course work is a testament to her care and dedication to all those she taught. It has been a privilege to know and work with her.
